Abbott Pre-Kindergarten for Children 4 Years and Up

(Monday – Friday 8:30AM- 2:45PM September – June)

Board Of Education Requirements:

• Must be Jersey City Resident (Proof of Address is required)
• Registration must be completed in person, and child must be present

Academy House Child Development Center 1 and Academy House Child Development Center V are contracted childcare centers that implement the Abbott preschool program. This is a free program funded by Jersey City Public Schools. Qualifications to be eligible for this program include the following: the child must be a Jersey City resident, and the child must turn 3 or 4 by October 1st to qualify for the participating school year. Academy House Child Development Center 1 offers a Pre-K program, while Academy House Child Development Center V offers both a Pre K-3 and K-4 program.
